Simulacrum
The series of paintings deals with the digitization of existence, the idea of life as a virtual reality and about the cycle of life. Death raises the question - if life is a simulation, what does its inevitable and certain end mean? - Deletaion, reincarnation, repeation or next level of the game? The simulacrum, according to which the whole ensemble of the paintings is named, is the most important and for me personally the most interesting motif - a one-word combination of everything I have been dealing with in my art lately. The simulacrum is also a possible semantic and conceptual starting point for hyperrealism.
The inspirational points are the books Difference and Repetition (Gilles Deleuze), Simulacrum and Simulation (Jean Baudrillard) and the related movies Matrix and Blade Runner.
Simulakrum
Série maleb pojednává o digitalizaci existence, myšlenky o životě jako virtuální realitě o cyklu života. Smrt vyvolává otázku - jestliže je život simulace, co znamená jeho neodvratný a pro všechny jistý konec? - vymazání, reinkarnaci, opakování nebo další level hry? Simulakrum, podle kterých je celý soubor pojmenován je nejvýznamnějším a pro mě osobně nejzajímavějším motivem - jednoslovným spojením všeho čím se ve svém umění v poslední době zabývám. Simulakrum je také možným významovým a konceptuálním východiskem pro hyperrealismus.
